This policy explains how Text-Book Adventures handles parent accounts, child profiles, and reading practice data.
Information Used by the App
The app may use parent account details, child profile names or reading levels, reading sessions, Reading Time attempts, recap attempts, kudos, and badge progress so families can use the reading experience and review progress in the Parent Portal.
Word Wizard Sight Words
If Word Wizard is enabled for an account, parents may upload sight-word lists. Those words are used to support generated reading practice stories and related progress features.
Speech Recognition
Reading Time voice features depend on browser and device speech recognition support. Browser providers may process audio according to their own technology and settings. The app should still support reading practice when speech features are unavailable.
Child Data
Text-Book Adventures is designed for parent-managed child profiles. We do not sell child data. Parents may request deletion of account, household, child profile, and reading practice data.
Payments
When billing is enabled, payment details are handled by Stripe. Text-Book Adventures should store plan and entitlement status needed to provide access, but not raw card numbers.
